Each year in June we hold a General meeting, where we elect alumni to serve in the positions of the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Alumni must be present at the meeting to vote. If you would like to become involved in the Alumni Board, contact any of the current Board members.

Lisa Delgado, President
Lisa is a proud Polar Alumni. While at Franklin Jr. and North High School, Lisa participated in Track and Field for 5 years and Basketball for 4 years.
She served 22 years in the United States Army and after retirement, went back to school to complete a Bachelors degree at an HBCU, Virginia State University. Go Trojans!
Lisa is a lifelong supporter of North Minneapolis Public Schools and North High School in general.

Jacelyn P. Johnson, Secretary
A North High School graduate, Class of 2000, Jacelyn is responsible for maintaining detailed records, ensuring effective communication, and providing strategic insight into alumni relations.
Her work as Founder and Creative Director of JahPenée Productions showcases her exceptional talent in storytelling, production, and community building. Through her leadership, Jacelyn continues to amplify the voices of underrepresented creatives and provide invaluable opportunities within the entertainment industry.
Jacelyn’s creativity, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence have made her a powerful advocate for North High School’s legacy. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that the Polar community remains vibrant, inclusive, and unified.
Her efforts are building a stronger, more dynamic network that honors the past while forging a bright future.

Carol Olson, Treasurer
Carol attended schools on the North Side during her K-8 education, and graduated from North High School, Class of 1967.
In 2017 Carol retired from Minneapolis Public Schools as an IT Support Technician.
Since her retirement she has been a volunteer in the library of a North Side K-5 school.
Carol is in her seventh term as Treasurer and has been a member since 2017.
